The car was acquired new by the team from City Ford Melbourne and carried the optional Brembo brake package . The GT Production class allowed only minor modifications and number 039 ran with a standard paper air filter, standard inlet manifold, standard exhaust headers and cats. The only engine modification was a Crane cam that allowed a max 6200 rpm managed by a Motec computer . Other mods included a Gonzo Pipes twin exhaust that exited under the rear doors and a PWR alloy radiator. Standard gearbox was driven thru various diff ratios including a 3.7:1 on its final day which saw it bouncing off its increased rev limiter of 6200rpm at the end of the front straight doing just over 200kph in 4th gear
